I'm a jerkface leaver. It does but not to the extent of Ranked. I'm low gold USEast, and it takes minutes to find a match solo. That said, there was a rare bug where players who were in the queue for long periods of time would become matchmaking vacuums, where they would instantly suck in all of the more "picky" players who had just queued in the nearby matchmaking vicinity. Others mix pre-mades and solos freely, and to be fair in these cases, we performed analysis on several hundreds of thousands of games to identify how much of a skill advantage this gives people.

  • Played 90 hours and not once played with less than 3 other people I knew, and in ranked I'm always in a 5 man team no matter what or I just won't play it.

We use a modified version of the Elo system. We don't care if you left or not -- if your team won, you will gain points, if your team lost, you will lose points. It knows pre-made teams are an advantage, so it gives you tougher opponents when you are in a pre-made team. Sometimes it's just bad timing, if you play at unusal times not as many players the game simply can't find a good matchup in rank, ping as well as team composition. Welcome to the Forum Archive! Okay, fine, but why do you even match pre-mades vs non-premades at all? My 4 man team of silvers and a bronze with a glitched rank won 10 or so rounds in a row and didn't rank up got pried with a copper and backed out, only to pair with the poor guy 4 more times. I was kind of hoping they would fix the time issues when they disabled the new queues yesterday, but I guess not.

For both ranked and casual Ubisoft need to get their servers to look for single players in the same geographic area who are also waiting for a game due to not enough players and just migrate them across to make up the numbers. There's people like me who don't want to play ranked because they actually enjoy the random nature of spawns in casual. In ranked games though, we DO give you a loss. Just wish you wouldn't fill the forum with these QQ threads.
